Our Bulletproof® Framework
Progressive Corrective Exercise
1. Injury Assessment: The Foundation of Precision
Purpose: To identify the true source of pain or dysfunction — not just the symptoms.
At Bulletproof, every client begins with a comprehensive injury assessment that integrates both clinical evaluation and movement analysis. This step ensures that we understand the client’s body as a whole, rather than treating isolated pain points.

Process:

1. History & Mechanism Review:
We start by understanding how and when the injury occurred — sports activity, training load, biomechanics, and lifestyle factors.
2. Orthopedic & Neuromuscular Testing:
Using evidence-based special tests, joint mobility checks, and soft tissue palpation to determine structural integrity and irritation patterns.
3. Movement Analysis:
Functional screening (e.g., squats, lunges, gait, balance) reveals compensations, imbalances, and kinetic chain dysfunctions.
4. Load & Capacity Profiling:
For athletic clients, we assess strength ratios, range of motion, and asymmetries to establish baselines for progressive rehab.
Outcome:
A clear diagnosis of what’s wrong, why it happened, and what needs to be done — forming a personalized plan that integrates manual therapy and corrective exercise.

2. Targeted Manual Therapy: The Reset Phase

Purpose: To restore optimal joint and soft tissue function, reduce pain, and enhance movement quality.
Once the root cause is identified, we employ targeted manual therapy techniques — not as a stand-alone fix, but as a strategic “reset” that prepares the body for movement retraining.

Techniques:

1. Myofascial Release & Cupping:
To address fascial restrictions and improve tissue glide.
2. Musculoskeletal Dry Needling:
To deactivate trigger points, modulate pain, and facilitate neuromuscular reset.
3. Joint Mobilization & Manipulation:
To restore arthrokinematic motion and improve joint mechanics.

4. Soft Tissue Mobilization & Blading:
To promote circulation, collagen alignment, and tissue remodeling.

Outcome:
Reduced pain, improved range of motion, and restored neuromuscular control — setting the stage for corrective movement work.

3. Progressive Corrective Exercise: The Rebuild Phase
Purpose: To re-educate movement, build resilience, and bulletproof the body from reinjury.
After manual therapy has optimized mobility and tissue quality, we transition into progressive corrective exercise — the heart of long-term recovery.
Structure:

1. Activation & Motor Control Training:
Reinforces correct muscle firing patterns and stability (e.g., glute activation, scapular control).
2. Strength & Load Progression:
Gradually reintroduces force and capacity through evidence-based loading strategies — bridging the gap between rehab and performance.
3. Movement Re-patterning:
Integrates sport-specific and functional tasks, ensuring carryover to real-world or athletic performance.
4. Return-to-Sport Protocols:
Objective benchmarks for strength, balance, and movement quality guide safe progression back to full activity.
Outcome:
Durable, high-performing movement capacity — clients not only recover but come back stronger, faster, and more resilient.
